My name is Janice Chow Wu and I am a Los Angeles-based fashion designer specializing in Women's Ready-to-Wear with a focus on wovens and cut & sew knits. With seven years of experience in the fashion industry, my expertise includes fashion sketching and illustration, technical drawing of flats , and CAD design on Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. I thoroughly enjoy the design process of concept development, trend research, initial sketching, product development, and the partnerships with merchandisers and buyers to deliver beautiful products.
Before getting into the design field, I spent my budding career as the Assistant to the Buyers of Jeffrey New York and gained experience in merchandising and the retail buying process. The foundation of my design background was developed while living in New York working for Rag & Bone, J.Crew, C. Wonder, and Kate Spade.
